Why is science better than common sense? Why do balloons go BANG!! instead of pffftt…? How can sitting on nails be a good idea, and what does this have to do with Einstein’s possible modelling career? Why don’t Hollywood movies ever blow anything up? What does liquid nitrogen have to do with a ride-on hovercraft? How much physical injury will a true nerd risk to make a point? Come and find out at the Mobile Science Spectacular!

A general science engagement show with a serious point to make. Includes concepts of energy, pressure, physical and chemical changes, critical thinking, and combustion – lots of loud noises, liquid nitrogen, explosions, and a ride-on hovercraft all strung together with a "What science is, how it works and why we need it" narrative.
